Feel Better ATL is dedicated to helping people reduce pain, tightness, and movement problems— whether they are recovering from an injury or trying to stay healthy. We work to ease discomfort and improve how your body moves so you can be more productive at work and enjoy time with your family. We give each person personal attention and support, making sure the care fits their needs. Our goal is to help every client feel better and move better day one.


Our secondary mission is to support athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone who wants to stay healthy and active. We provide stretch sessions, helpful therapeutic techniques, and simple self-care tools you can use on your own. Through education and hands-on care, we help people reconnect with their bodies and get back to feeling their best. Our goal is to help each person feel even better than before with support that fits their needs. We are committed to being your partner on the journey to better wellness and vitality.

Who Am I?

John Mitchell

My name is John Mitchell. I am a stretch and flex coach, myofascial practitioner, and licensed physical therapist assistant. I have been licensed and certified in health and wellness for almost 25 years. Each year, I complete over 100 hours of wellness, stretching, and physical therapy seminars to stay current and strengthen my expertise. I focus on post-recovery care, preventative wellness, and helping people who simply want to stay healthy. My approach is shaped by a variety of techniques and systems, including stretching sciences, John Barnes Myofascial Release, yoga, tai chi, traditional and extreme sports training principles, and is influenced by the Feldenkrais Method.

Minimal-contact sessions are designed for individuals who prefer not to have hands-on treatments or physical contact. The services described above can be delivered both in person and via telehealth, ensuring accessibility and convenience. In-person sessions may incorporate therapeutic modalities if necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment while maintaining a minimal-contact approach.

We believe that adults over 35 deserve access to a movement specialist, such as a licensed physical therapist, for a comprehensive wellness assessment. During this visit, we discuss your personal goals, identify weakness, muscle imbalances, and balance deficits, and address areas of discomfort. Our aim is to reduce—or potentially eliminate—those issues so you can move with confidence, comfort, and ease.
